Proper maintenance is key for the longevity of your Top Prado Blade.
For steel finishes, always clean and wipe down any moisture or debris to prevent rusting using a soft cloth.
Apply thin coat of oil (example, any quality firearm oil such as Strike Hold) over the steel and store appropriately.
For Parkerized (Black/Tactical) finish, please wipe down any debris or liquids with a soft cloth. Clean and dry as to not scratch the finish. Lightly oil the Parkerized finish (example, any quality firearm oil such as Strike Hold), then gently wipe off excess oil. Also add oil (use a high quality natural wood oil free from impurities, such as Tung Oil) to the Kamagong wood handle and scabbard to minimize weathering and preserve the beautiful finish. Any weathering (slight cracking due to climatic acclimation and exposure to the elements) should not affect the function of the Top Prado Blade. Store accordingly.
