THE ORIGINAL PRADO WORKSHOP
This piece was forged in the original Prado family workshop in a rural area of the Philippines. The workshop has been described as spartan: open-air, without enclosed walls, and with an earthen floor. It is a working family forge where blades are made through a traditional, hands-on process.
PRADO PROVENANCE
The Talibung carries the Prado family tradition and the design experience of 2LT. Manuel S. Prado, Jr. (retired), Philippine Force Recon Marines, Class 001. Its balanced profile reflects a traditional Filipino blade form refined through decades of knowledge and craftsmanship.
This piece is offered as a collector-grade cultural blade for buyers who value Filipino heritage, authentic workmanship and Prado provenance. It is not mass-produced.
SHIPPING
Please allow a few business days for final inspection and processing before shipment.
IMPORTANT
This is a sharpened, functional blade intended for responsible adult ownership, collection, display and lawful private use. The buyer is responsible for following all applicable local laws.
Kamagong wood can develop small natural cracks or weathering due to environmental changes. This does not affect the integrity of the piece.
