Description:
Engineered for extreme operational environments, this blade reflects the uncompromising discipline and combat-proven ethos of the Philippine Force Recon Marines. Each piece is hand-forged from high-performance tactical steel and shaped with deliberate precision to deliver exceptional structural integrity, balance, and reliability under demanding conditions.
The hand-forging process ensures that every blade is inherently unique, defined by craftsmanship rather than mass production. No two are exactly alike. Finished in Midnight Black Cerakote, the blade gains superior resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and environmental exposure while maintaining a low-visibility, mission-ready profile.
Purpose-built and forged without shortcuts, this blade represents the highest standard of functional craftsmanship for professionals who demand absolute performance.
Founder’s Note - From the Founder
The Talibung stands apart because it achieves something rare in blade design: true balance between authority and control. It carries the forward presence of the Ginunting, allowing the blade to dig in decisively, while preserving the agility and thrusting efficiency of the Dahon Palay.
In practice, this means power without compromise. The Talibung transitions naturally between slashes and thrusts, close work and extended engagement, without forcing the user to adapt to the weapon. Instead, the weapon adapts to the user.
After years of training and real-world application, I consider the Talibung the most complete and well-rounded functional war sword ever developed, not because of tradition alone, but because of how it performs.
Founder Insight
“The Talibung combines the forward-driving power of a Ginunting with the precision and maneuverability of a Dahon Palay. That balance makes it, in my experience, the most well-rounded and functional war sword ever created.”
Technical Breakdown
Design & Performance Characteristics

Blade Geometry
- Optimized profile supports both deep, committed slashes and efficient thrusting. The geometry allows penetration without sacrificing edge control or maneuverability.
Center of Balance
- Positioned to promote natural blade tracking and reduced fatigue, enabling prolonged use without loss of precision.
Functional Versatility
- Designed to perform across multiple ranges and engagement styles, eliminating the need to specialize around a single tactical application.
Note: Please allow a few days for processing as each blade is meticulously inspected before shipment, ensuring you receive a combat-ready tool that upholds the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
*Kamagong wood may develop slight cracks due to environmental changes. Scabbard and handle may experience slight weathering, which does not affect functionality.
