THE ORIGINAL PRADO WORKSHOP
This piece is hand-forged in the original Prado family workshop in a rural area of the Philippines. The workshop is open-air, without enclosed walls, and has an earthen floor. It is a working family forge that follows a traditional, hands-on process.
TIMELINE
Custom orders currently take approximately 9–12 months to complete.
HAND-FORGED CHARACTER
Every custom piece is individually forged and finished. Natural variations in the steel, wood and scabbard are part of its one-of-one character.
KAMAGONG NOTE
Changes in humidity and temperature may cause slight movement or fine surface checking in kamagong. This natural response does not affect the integrity of the piece.
