TOPPRADOBLADES.COM - TERMS OF PURCHASE
Each purchase of a Top Prado Blade™, guarantees that you will be placed on our new batch order with MSgt. Prado. It will take at least 3-months to complete all orders. Any updates or delays will be communicated to you by email. Please be patient as MSgt. Prado hand forges all new blade purchases and he is also still on active duty with the Philippine Marine Corps. At Top Prado Blades, we do our best to communicate to our customers.
Proper maintenance is key for the longevity of your Top Prado Blade. Always clean and wipe down any moisture or debris to prevent rusting. Apply thin coat of oil (example 3-in-1 oil) over the steel and store appropriately. Also add oil (any natural wood oil should do) to the Kamagong wood handle and scabbard to avoid cracks. For Carabao horn handles, it is recommended that you coat the handle with oil (ex, extra-virgin olive oil). Any weathering (minimal cracking due to climatic acclimation) should not affect the function and performance of the Top Prado Blade.
Top Prado Bolos are extremely tough; however, please use proper judgement and safety when using them. They are designed to be used in close-quarter-combat defense and to clear brush. It’s not intended to be used to build a house out of oak trees. ;)
Upon receiving your order, please let us know of any problems. We will do our best to make sure all blades are completed with our standards of quality and excellence.
